August 2008 brings the 20th Anniversary for Féile an Phobail, home to Europe's largest community festival, 'August Féile'.

Our programme of events is of the highest standards of quality entertainment. August Féile has had similar acts to four major UK festivals - Glastonbury, Oxygen, the Cambridge Folk Festival and the London Fleadh. These are all recognized internationally for the quality and breadth of their acts.

August Féile has been set up to celebrate the creative and dynamic community that resides in West Belfast and to promote the community on the world stage by bringing world-renowned acts to West Belfast each year. However an important part of our ethos is to promote local talent and we actively ensure that some of our acts include both established and up and coming local / national artists.
